Greg
was born in Detroit in 1951. He graduated high
school in 1969 from Notre Dame. He received his
BA degree, with a psychology major, from Oakland
University in Rochester, MI in 1973. Greg
obtained his JD from Detroit College of Law in
1977 and practiced plaintiffs personal injury
law at Sachs Waldman, Professional Corporation
until his retirement from that firm on December
31st, 2008. He was a partner and director at the
firm. Greg has now opened his own firm, and is
also "of counsel" to the firms of
Potter, DeAgostino, O'Dea
& Patterson (Auburn Hills), and
Sachs Waldman
(locations in Detroit & Pontiac).
Greg's 32 years of experience in handling every
facet of complex litigation, from discovery
through trial, makes him well suited to give you
insightful legal advice and to handle your
matter. For those cases he will not agree to
handle, Greg can direct you to respected,
qualified attorneys for further consultation.
Greg sits as a case evaluator (formerly known as
a 'mediator') for the Circuit Court in Wayne
County. Greg has lectured at Michigan Trial
Lawyers Association seminars and appeared on
local television on the Due Process and Ask the
Lawyer shows. Greg has been appointed as a
regular Member of the Michigan State Bar
Standing Committee on Character & Fitness.
Greg sat on the Standing
Committee on Professional Ethics for the State
Bar from 2006-2009.

Greg is admitted to
practice in all trial courts in Michigan, as
well as before the Michigan Supreme Court and
Michigan Court of Appeals. In the Federal
system, Greg is admitted to practice in the
Eastern & Western Districts of the United States
District Court and the 6th Circuit Court of
Appeals in Cincinnati. He has handled 1000's of
cases to a successful conclusion in these court
systems and has tried over 100 cases to jury.
Greg has received the highest rating from his
peers, AV, as published in the
Martindale-Hubbell
legal directories/ratings and was also named a
2010 Top Lawyer by dBusiness.
